Do you look at the divisive, binary, shallow shitfest of daily politics with increasing disbelief?

Are you noticing falling leaves, gently collapsing hedgerows, stronger winds and sodden ground with a sort of beautiful sadness?

Have you seen videos of brave youngsters perched above motorways pleading for Govt to act on the screaming climate science ? (before being locked in prisons)

Do you see extraordinary possibilities to create more beautiful life-sustaining cultures but feel others around you can’t?

Have you ever felt that your head knows what needs to change, but your body feels stuck in how to act ?

Do you sometimes feel alone with all of this?

“We have the collective capacity to transform…”

Said the wise, inspiring and courageous Mia Mottley as she addressed world leaders at the start of COP27 this week.

“So why are we not moving?”

She said.

Climate change.

System change.

Season change.

Change the economy.

Change the Govt.

Change business.

Change the media.

Change change change.

Change is being talked about everywhere.

Transformation is being called for.

So why are we not moving ?

(as Mia said).

What if transformational change is really an inside job ?

What if it begins with ourselves?

What if we must become the stories, dreams and futures we speak of ?

Change is becoming.

Change is messy.

Change requires attention, space, nourishment.

Encouragement.

Change needs practices.

Change needs courage.

Courage needs connection.

Connection needs community.

Crew.

Human and more than human.

Online, offline and in the places we call home.

Evolving ourselves together.

This is becoming crew

And why we are gathering for the Community Solo.
