The scientist talk of hope.
Nowhere near enough is being done but there’s still time, they say.
There's hope, still.
Hope is a funny thing- we need it to keep things alive but maybe it gets in the way when some things need to die?
If there’s hope, still. Maybe we can drag this out a bit longer?Â
If there’s hope, still. Maybe someone else will figure it out.
Maybe, our ways don’t need to die.
Maybe it’s hopelessness we need to let things die.Â
And hope to keep our spirits alive.
