Two spots left around the fire
Deadline Friday 12th September for our last Community Solo of the year
The Autumn Equinox is upon us.
We are at the threshold of a significant shift in the Earth cycle.
A time of harvest, to acknowledge and celebrate the abundance of the Earth.
And to honour the shift toward slower darker times.
Times for letting go.
What if you created intentional space to slow down and be still at this moment ?
To turn off the noise and distractions,
And to live on wild land for two days.
To gather around a fire and sit in council
To listen deeply to your heart and body,
To listen to the land and other beings,
To listen to a crew of fellow humans.
What might you hear ?
What might emerge ?
What could shift ?
These are ancient practices for uncertain times.
We have brought them together into an experience we call the Community Solo and our last offering this year is to honour the Autumn Equinox 19th-21st September.
Some words from previous participants..
“In a time when everything can feel like it’s out of any kind of control, this opportunity to be alone together is exactly what we need “
Jon Alexander
“There’s never going to be any pressure for you to perform in any way, or just to be anything apart from yourself. It’s a really good thing to come into with curiosity”
Hannah
“it’s so welcoming, it felt like home.. I love that the community made me feel safe and the whole preparation makes you feel that you’re not there alone”
Naia
We gather on Ghostwood Down, private regenerating downland on the edges of the City of Bath - 2 hours from London by car, or 80 mins by train.
This is special land, which seems to welcome everyone who has journeyed with us this year.
Last weekend we hosted a crew of young men on the land, on the Sunday they were out during a huge thunderstorm, one of them returned to the fireside and said he had never felt more ‘aliveness’ than out on the land in the storm.
These are stormy times we are living through.
And cultivating aliveness is what we strive for, to access and feel the full range of our sensory being-ness
To be fully alive to the challenges and possibilities ahead.
And what is ours to do.
Come and join us around the fire
